Located in Baton Rouge, we create athletics videos for a variety of destinations, including social media, event showings, commercial and digital advertisements, and personal use. Each of our preset video options are described below, however, we can accommodate a variety of customer preferences in order to satisfy expectations and meet every creative video need for your team or player.
A Game Recap is a 20-90 second video that shows the notable plays and moments of your game from a game-level perspective. Filmed with cinematic style and a storytelling spirit in mind, it is a fresh and eye-catching way to recount the events of your game, opposed to the drab and usual broadcast perspective.Â
A Hype Video is an adrenaline-inducing, movie trailer-style video that's purpose is to excite fans and encourage support for a team or player. Often 45-120 seconds long, a Hype Video contains a narrated script, intense music, cinematic film, player and team highlights, and movie effects. Hype Videos are typically released on social media and/or shown to a fanbase days before an important game to increase fan support for the team.
An Athlete Highlight Reel is a compilation of on-field or on-court film of an individual athlete's gameplay throughout a game or season. This intends to showcase the athlete's talents and abilities in an entertaining format and capture their best moments in a cinematic style that is unique to the athlete and their creative preferences.
A Team Highlight Reel functions similarly to a Game Recap, however, it may be filmed with an alternate creative idea in mind, such as specifically focusing on multiple members of the team, showcasing an in-game demonstration of teamwork or togetherness, or celebrating a large team event, like the conclusion of a season.
A Media Clip is often simply a 2-5 second film of a player, usually in front of a set or green-screen background during a media day, posing or acting for the camera as if it were a live audience. These Media Clips are typically used on social media or broadcasts to promote games, to introduce players, and to begin/conclude commercial breaks. This form of video has a variety of uses for all levels of athletics.
A Recruitment Video serves as a highlight tape for high school athletes to send to college recruiters. It contains videos of in-game highlights of the athlete as well as film of the athlete completing drills, practice gameplay, and physical exercises. This type of video may be 45-300 seconds in length.
Interviews typically last 1-5 minutes and can include athletes, coaches, team personnel, and administration as subjects of the interview. An interviewer is not provided by Vinson Videography.
Human-Interest Videos may highlight an athlete's personal life or focus on something like a memorable event, a team service project, or the memorializing of a loved one after their passing.
An Event Recap is a 20-90 second video that showcases the proceedings of a social or athletic event, the people that attended, performed, and/or hosted, as well as the event's purpose and affect on the community or organization.
